So by now everyone has heard/read that the Columbia show didn't happen, making Fayetteville my 50th show.Danny should have the setlist, I was too busy having fun in front with Teresa and Mary to stop and keep track of the order. Songs were played in different order, opening with Shelf Life and Peel. They also played Slight Diversion by The Equals...I dare you to find that song somewhere lol. Ross asked Trees what song she thought they should play so she selected Ghost because he told he to stick with the list and not confuse anyone behind the first row. Then I got a turn to pick a song... how could I pass up Man In Contol. And to top off the night, Big Bird! And you all thought it would stay in retirement . Overall it was a great show to add to the rest I have seen. Not just because of the band but also because of the friends who were there to share (or the ones that got calls during!). Thanks to Jason, Casey, Thomas and Mike for the pride you put into your craft and the thanks you show to your fans that feverishly support you.

I had a really great time at the Fayetteville show. Of course I got to go to dinner with Val, Trees and Mary, but we met up with LameJohn and about 8 of his friends at the show, so the front row was well stocked. Show itself was great, the setlist was pretty much made up. As Val said, Jason was taking suggestions, as long as it was "on the list."Val didn't mention it, but we had one excessive heckler in the crowd that was calling for "Petty, Rolling Stones, The Who" and some other bands. "I bet you won't play any of those five." To which Jason said, "I'll play you a Rolling Stones tune and you go have a beer and shutup." LOL Of course they brought out Dead Flowers, only unusually it was played by all 4 guys, so it was really unique! I'll have photos and audio later in the week (maybe). The soundboard audio is kinda rough as it was a little hot coming into my recorder and I didn't notice till about halfway through the show. Oh well. Setlist: 01 - Shelf Life 02 - Peel 03 - Headstrong 04 - Was a Ghost 05 - Over Your Shoulder 06 - Sleepwalking 07 - Last Kiss 08 - Dead Flowers [Rolling Stones] 09 - My My 10 - "This is called Wait" 11 - Cumbersome 12 - Times Like These 13 - Settle Up 14 - Rockcrown 15 - Diversion [The Equals] 16 - Man In Control 17 - Out For Blood 18 - Upside Down 19 - Dislocated 20 - Water's Edge 21 - Big Bird [Eddie Floyd]

The song I knew by the Equals {Police on my Back) is below. This is the beginning for Eddie Grant (Electric Avenue). My Mom passed in 1991 but I am sure we would have had 3 generations of Fitz's on the rail screaming for 7m3. We were stationed in England at this time(mid-late 60's). Cool stuff the band is choosing to give new breath! Big Bird is wonderful. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4E5aF_rdX9Q&feature=related ------------------ "Peace"

Danny, I didn't mention the jerk because I didn't feel he deserved the recognition . But it did lead into a great verison of Dead Flowers.Who cares how rough it is Danny, I was just glad you were there to record it!

It was definitely a fun time. My cousins and all their friends got to witness their 1st 7m3 show, and loved it! I'm sure they'll become big fans too. They did play quite a few songs I wasn't used to hearing. Of course, I was only on my 6th show It was good to see Danny again, and meet some new peeps from the boards. Hope to see you all again sometime soon. I did learn one thing, I just can't drink with them young military guys anymore! Next stop.........VEGAS!!!!!

I've been completely swamped at work and with a ton of other things, but I finally mixed down the audio from this show and got it up on the site. Unfortunately the feed was too hot for the first part of the show until I checked on it during Rockcrown. That means Ross' vocals get pretty distorted sounding in the louder parts. But... the rest of the show is great and has some great parts like Man In Control for Val, the first performance of Diversion and pulling Big Bird out of retirement! So jump on over to the site and get a copy, even if you have to skip the first half. http://www.luckynumber7m3.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=artic le&id=73:20100910&catid=34:liveshows ------------------ There are 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't.
