Arlene said I either had to get on here..or hijack the mb20 boards again...So.. we are at 11 days pre-lex-rock. Let's discuss. Who's coming...and where's is the pregathering this year?? Attending:

also, breaking into april's pool. no security, so i won't need the ming hand cannon...apache wins!! last time, we stayed at a hotel that had the Best Comfiest Beds Ever - it was right in town. any word on opening bands?? steve?

holy shit i forgot when they ran out of beer. Then again, that's an even BETTER reason why I drink Vodka.My friend and I were gonna break into the pool last night, and the party was still going. Turns out if you just don't leave when it closes, it's not breakin in, and they dont' seem to mind too much. However, I don't live close to the venue...  It is at A1A..but it's now called Bar Roxy.... I haven't posted in like eight years, and now I am posting a novel....

HAHAHA Val. Perhaps Mark should use his big boy voice and tell people when there is puddle, verses saying as he picks you up "I just was thinking, someone is gonna slip and fall on that puddle!" HAHAHAHA. I'll wear my flip flops in his honor..but i'll bring elbow pads and a helmet.

And as far as the pre show meet up, We're gonna do some scooping out tomorrow (unless wayne did that tonight) and we'll have something figured out ASAP! Problem is there is nothing super close to the venue, so everything will be about a 5-7 min drive like last time.

Marikka's on Southland Dr.http://marikkas.com They serve food, and have 400'ish beers.... this was where we met up a few years ago at the December concert at A1A. The flyer says the doors are open at 8, and the show "starts" at 9.... So, time??? Any thoughts??? They open at 5.

The wife and I will be there. But first, as usual, a small complaint....
I waited until today to try and order tickets, but didn't realize that you had to call the Bar to order them. This normally wouldn't be a problem, if they weren't open on ONLY Friday and Saturday nights. Due to this small oversight, it's gonna cost us an extra $10. This venue has been going down hill for quite some time, no matter how many owners change hands, nor how much they spend on renovations. If I may make a suggestion, next time you want to play Lexington, PLEASE play at Buster's. It is by far a bigger and better venue. In spite of all these troubles, I will still be there and rocking out regardless, I just felt like I needed to say my extra $10 worth.
